Policies
These policies apply to bookings and stays at Cork Cabin, Sallybrook, Glanmire, near Cork City, Ireland.
Booking and payment
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Bookings remain provisional until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
The cabin accommodates a maximum of two adults. The standard minimum stay is two nights, although single nights may occasionally be available by enquiry.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 2:30 p.m. Check-out is by 10:30 a.m. Guests are asked to respect these times so the cabin can be prepared for incoming guests.
Security deposit
A €200 holding deposit is required for each stay. The deposit will be refunded after departure provided that the property is left in good condition, no damage has occurred, no excessive cleaning is required, and house rules have been observed. Any costs for damage, breakages, or additional cleaning may be deducted from the deposit.
Cancellation policy
The 30% deposit is non-refundable. If a booking is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the full balance remains payable and no refund will be issued. Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance to cover unexpected circumstances.
In the unlikely event that CorkCabin.ie must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments received will be refunded.
Use of the property
Cork Cabin is designed as a quiet private retreat for two guests. Parties, gatherings, or events are not permitted. Guests are asked to respect neighbouring properties and the surrounding environment.
House rules
- No smoking inside the cabin
- No pets
- No parties or events
- Maximum occupancy of two adults
Sauna use
The barrel sauna is available for guest use during the stay. Use of the sauna is entirely at the guest’s own risk. Guests should ensure they are medically fit to use a sauna and should use it responsibly. Children are not permitted to use the sauna.
Fire pit and barbecue
The cabin includes outdoor facilities such as a fire pit and barbecue. Guests must exercise care when using fire and ensure all fires are fully extinguished after use. Fires must never be left unattended.
Privacy
Information provided when making an enquiry or booking may include name, email address, phone number, and booking details. This information is used only to manage bookings and communication with guests. Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
This website may use limited cookies to ensure the website functions correctly and to understand how visitors use the site. Most browsers allow cookies to be controlled or disabled through browser settings.
Liability
Guests are responsible for their own safety while staying at the property. CorkCabin.ie cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during a stay. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
Governing law
These policies are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes relating to bookings or the use of the property shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
